Nerve Conduction Study (NCS)
Electomyography (EMG)

The Neurological and Pain Institute

We perform Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) in tandem with electromyography (EMG) every day using the latest equipment.  The NCS provides information about abnormal conditions in the nerves while the EMG evaluates the electrical activity produced by muscles.

Together the procedures can detect the presence, location, and extent damage to the nerves and muscles.   Dr. Bahreman uses them to test for patients with suspicion of neuropathy, radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, chronic pain syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, and personal injury cases.
